One blog site that I came across that is near and dear to my heart is Farm Sanctuary's Blog. Farm Sanctuary is an American animal protection organization. Their work is inspiring. Take a look below.

After visiting Farm Sanctuary in Watkin's Glen, NY a few years ago, I came across this blog post about a very special turkey named Turpentine. Below I posted a photo of Turpentine and I that my husband took while I was sitting in the grass at FS. I still can't believe how gentle and sweet he was.
